Environment offers a new guided tour by the Barranco Blanco (14/04/2015)

The Department of Environment provides for next weekend plantes two interesting for lovers of nature: 'Volunteering in the garden' and a new guided tour by the Majal Blanco.

On Saturday April 18 the Environmental Volunteer of the Municipality of Murcia rejoins to contribute to the maintenance of the garden of Murcia and traditional crops.

On this occasion, the participants in this activity will know the function of flowers and herbs that accompany organic farming and made a plantation to create a natural defense against pests.

The activity will take between 10-14 hours.

Environmental guided tour

On Sunday April 19 the Department of Environment has organized an environmental guided tour itinerary small tour 'PR MU 52 Barranco Blanco'.

The route of 7 km long and medium difficulty, will allow participants to understand the diversity of environments present in the Municipal Forest Park Majal Blanco.

From the pine forests of Mediterranean forests, the route goes into zones promenade, overlooking the Barranco Blanco, climbing small hills from which the landscape of the mountains and regional vegas vegetation observed and runs through lands of ancient cultures where they live Natural with typical plant species associated with these areas.
