Murcia Fashion Week convert the Plaza de Santo Domingo in a space fashion (01/04/2015)

The city becomes for a week in Spanish fashion capital.

Murcia Fashion Week, to be held from 13 to 19 April, will show, through parades, conferences and workshops, the new design of Murcia.

The event, organized in collaboration with the departments of Urban Quality, Culture, Employment, Trade and Enterprise, is part of Muac program, which aims to promote all activities that encourage small businesses.

In this second edition, the programming is completed with an area of ​​exhibitors to sell fashion and accessories design at the Plaza de Santo Domingo, which will run from 15 to 19 April in which nearly thirty artists show their designs.

The program includes three conferences to be held in the Claras Cultural Centre, with the proceeds (three euros per ticket) will go to AREMUPD, Murcia Regional Association for the Prevention of Drug Addiction.

On Monday 13, at 12.30, Murcia Inmaculada Jimenez, director of fashion magazine Elle Spain, explained his career.

All workshops will be held at the Cultural Center Claras (except Wednesday 15 will be at the Museum of Fine Arts) and the price for entry into the range between 5 and 12 euros).

Finally, we have organized three shows.

Inside The Gateway and Gateway Las Claras, experimental designers show their collections, while the General Catwalk most experienced designers let see their latest work.

The Inside gateway, which will take place on Monday 13, at 18.30 in Las Claras and aims to promote fashion among novice designers, hosting parades:

- Maite Pacheco: Recently graduated in fashion design from the ESD Murcia, presents his collection 'Imago', composed of six proposals for brides who are transformed into dresses for other events.

- Miss Andrea Fü Chafer: Enrolled in the School of Art and Design presents a personal project Alcoy 'Stamping Harmony', a mini collection of six proposals rustic fabrics and unique pattern ..

- Kruxs, graduated from the School of Design presents Orihuela 'In Out', a personal collection with avant-garde lines in gray and black.

- María Pérez, with only 18, he debuted with his collection 'The Nature of the Soul' with transparencies, white and gold.

- Angela Misino formed in the School of Design in Porto (Portugal), presents 'Minha' final project based on miscegenation and multiculturalism.

- The Inside brand presents its proposal for this summer 2015. A lighthearted and fun collection where the colors are the protagonists.

The Gateway Las Claras be held on Tuesday 18th at 18:30 in Las Claras, and will host the following shows:

- Pilar Llamas, graduated from the ESD Murcia, explains his final degree of personal 'Flor de la Canela' project, which contrasts the two classes that marked his childhood.

- The CRiXA formed in the BAU ESD Barcelona and Madrid, will present his Bachelor 'No Cripsis' a colorful collection transformable project.

- Bagger Off, Murcia expanding firm was founded by five young entrepreneurs who presented his collection focused on the male sector.

- Nerea Jiménez, entitled by the School of Design of Murcia, did his internship with designer Ion Fiz, and his previous collection 'Datrebil' was awarded the Best Young Designer Award Murcia.

- Alessandro Corssini, Paris-based designer, presents his collection 'Wearable Art' inspired by the modern woman.

- Debora Velasquez, halfway between Murcia and Brussels, Buenos Aires presents its collection, twelve sets that refer to his native Argentina ..

- Paco Benavente, Valencian designer who received the award for Best Collection of emergent design in Valencia Fashion Week, presents his collection 'Byblis' monochromatic and gloomy collection which highlights the textures and overlapping pieces accompanied by floral works and butterflies.

- Jairo Diaz usual Cibeles, presents 'This Is Not the End' a collection of minimalist style with Andalusian essence twelve proposals where neoprene fabrics, hair and wool predominate in contrast crepe silks period.
