The regional government declared "The Morning Salzillo" as a Cultural intangible character (27/03/2015)

The Governing Council approved the declaration as Cultural Interest (BIC) of intangible character for 'The Morning Salzillo'.

It is well known to all traditions developed around the morning of Good Friday in the city of Murcia, which materialize in the procession of the Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno with sculptures made in the eighteenth century by Francisco Salzillo.

The declaration of 'The Morning Salzillo' as BIC is justified by the artistic quality of the sculpture, with significance both in the region, where it has led to a whole school of imagery, as in the history of international art.

Also taken into account the nature of work unit created to form the Good Friday procession;

the architectural framework that exposes permanently, the Church of Jesus;

and the importance of emotional ties established by the citizens.

Through this declaration value and protect intangible elements, as well as furniture and historic sights.

Specifically, the intangible aspects that make the intangible values ​​are the songs of the Aurora bells, and declared BIC intangible and opening the doors of the Church of Jesus at six solar hours of Friday to output the procession .

The traditional costume of the Nazarene shelf and Butler, the touch of mockery of groups of horns and drums intemperate and distribution of products by procesionistas is also included.
