Welcome to Italian students of the international Master Campus Mare Nostrum (26/03/2015)

The Faculty of Law of the University of Murcia today hosted a welcoming ceremony for 80 students who will study Italian masters at the two public universities in the region.

The stay of Italian students occurs thanks to the agreement between the Campus of International Excellence Mare Nostrum (CMN) and the INPS, an organ of the Alpine country equivalent to the National Institute of Social Security of Spain which is responsible for funding scholarships.

The Vice Chancellor for Coordination and internationalization of the University of Murcia, Bernardo Cascales, explained that there has been a large increase in the number of students, from 16 in 2014 to 80 this year, which are those that will attend any of the 19 Masters of "proven internationality" offered ".

"What makes universities Campus Mare Nostrum, added the Vice Chancellor on European leaders in direct agreements with Italy".

The reception was chaired by the governing Jose Orihuela (University of Murcia) and Jose Antonio Franco (UPCT), who encouraged students to take advantage academically stay and enjoy what this region offers.

In welcome, has also intervened Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, Manuel Marcos Sánchez, who congratulated the beneficiaries of grants for choosing Murcia public universities, "very relevant within the university system national ", he said.

The act of reception is complete with performances by singers and with a guided tour of the city of Murcia.

At the University of Murcia, students will study the Masters in Chemical Engineering;

Nutrition, Food Safety and Technology;

Advanced and Professional Mathematics;

Technology, Management and Water Management;

Comparative Literature;

Editorial translation;

Naval History and Heritage, Information Management in Organizations and Biolaw: Law, Ethics and Science.

At the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, meanwhile, Renewable Energy;

Accounting and Corporate Finance;

Management and Business Management and Tourism Entities;

Administration and Management;

Administration and Management of Social Economy, Telecommunication Engineering;

Heritage Architectural and Civil Engineering, Channels and Ports.
