The Mayor presides at the Teatre Romea reception for children 61 and older candidates for Queen of Huerta (17/03/2015)

The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, presided over yesterday afternoon the traditional official reception that the City provides to candidates for Reina de la Huerta.

As was the case last year, the event was held in the Romea Theatre, attended, among others, councilors Rafael Gómez, Joaquín Moya-Angeler, María del Carmen Pelegrin, Lola Sanchez, Alicia Barquero and Rebeca Perez.

The appointment began doors Romea Theatre, with the appearance of the procession of the 30 seniors and children 31 candidates in the square, where they had the Mayor.

Together with chords Clubbing, they agreed on stage, which entered the Queen Children 2014, Andrea Carmona, arm Federation president, Antonio Aviles, and behind them, the Mayor of Murcia and Queen of the Garden 2014 Andrea Belmonte.

Individually, each of the candidates took the stage of the theater where the mayor gave them a pin Hall.

Then spoke the president of the Federation and the Mayor, who wished the greatest success to all candidates shall be elected from among the two queens and 14 bridesmaids each.

The event ended after hearing the anthem to Murcia and proceed to the exchange of gifts by the City and the Federation of Peñas vegetable garden.

From today the candidates fulfill a comprehensive calendar of events that end with the election of the new queens and subsequent coronation, which will take place next Saturday, March 21, and April 4, respectively.

In any case, the big day will be April 7, when takes place the Bando de la Huerta.
