Torreagüera have a youth center with a library, study room and offices for youth associations in the city to carry out their activities.
This facility will occupy the former senior center, situated at source, and work to adapt the space will be made.
The City Council has given its approval to the procurement of works, which will involve an investment of 380,000 euros, with a lead time of six months.
Is expected to begin before the summer.
The youth center will have a total area of ​​500 square meters on two floors.
Will exhibit hall, library, media library, study room with capacity for one hundred people and four offices to be used by local associations.
The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sánchez, recalled that Torreagüera library will add to the Municipal Library Network, which now has 17 libraries.
In addition, this center will complement the network of youth centers in districts which features La Nave (Bacons Bridge), El Palmar and 585m2 (Murcia).
