Guadalupe Navarro and Isabel Consuelo Caravaca, literary contest winners XXII of the Center for Women Guadalupe (14/03/2015)

Caravaca Consuelo Isabel Guerrero, in the form of narrative, and Guadalupe Navarro Gálvez, in the form of poetry, were the winners of the XXII Literary Contest organized by the Center for Women Guadalupe.

The awardees have received 150 euros each.

The second prize was for Maria narrative Nicholas Arteaga, and poetry for Isabel Martínez Lozano, worth 100 euros.

In addition, it has achieved a special mention in poetry Teresa Hernandez Serrano.

Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, recalled that women's centers aim at comprehensive development of women, contributing to their social integration, training and promotion of artistic activity.

The aim of the literary contest is to encourage the participation of women in literary creation as a means of communication and publicize the artistic productions of women.

On this occasion were presented 25 works of poetry and 20 in the form of narrative.

All participants have been given a participatory diploma.

The jury was formed by the schoolteacher Our Lady of Guadalupe Guerrero Yolanda Martinez, auxiliary of the municipal library of Guadalupe Maria Josefa Martinez Cerezo and coach of the Autonomous Community and graduated in Law José María Gil Soriano.

The Central Association of Women of Guadalupe is constituted since 1993, its president is Fuensanta Ruiz Capel.

The partners involved in psychology workshops, maintenance gymnastics, pilates, literary contest, workshop stretching, yoga, assistant course home help, film series, cooking courses and cultural visits.
