The Rules of the road, whose approval by the DGT is close, has been one of the main issues discussed by the assembly of the Network of Cities for Bicycle (RCxB) which, chaired by the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Angel House he met yesterday in Madrid.
In it, attended by about 30 people, cities and associations present have also known the constitution of the Parliamentary Group of the Bicycle, created last month with the aim to work towards a better and greater use of bicycles for urban travel by citizens.
The Network of Cities for Cycling represents more than 120 cities and transport authorities in Spanish sensitized to the need to promote the use of bicycles and improve services, infrastructure and policies which concern them, in order to improve mobility and environment.
Furthermore, and within the issues that have received the attention of the assembly, holding Bicity.org has also been revised.
He is a driven RCxB that during a weekend, brought together entrepreneurs interested in developing related to the use of the bike in the cities business event.
In this first edition 84 participants, who presented 43 ideas were recorded.
The actions taken by the RCxB during 2014 and perspectives for this 2015 (visits to cities, work networking among members, days of awareness or assistance Iberian Congress of ConBici, etc.) were other issues discussed at the meeting.
Special attention was also paid to BiciRegistro, system identification and prevention of RCxB, who have already signed many partners theft and is in the process of expansion, thanks to the latest addition to the city of Madrid.
