Start the installation of the first stations of the new bike rental service MUyBICI (10/03/2015)

The launch of the new service public bicycle rental municipality of Murcia MUyBICI is getting closer, as the Department of Environment has launched, as announced, the installation of the first caucuses.

Technicians from the City of Murcia have started working on the implementation of the electrical connections to the locations of the benches to give them power.

At the same time, they are carrying out tasks physically staking the benches in selected locations, according to criteria of accessibility, visibility and respect of public roads.

These works are also participating in the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change Murcia (GER), the Office of the Bicycle, other services and municipal technicians and UTE responsible for the implementation and management of the system.

Remember that the service includes the installation of 60 stations, the circulation of 600 bicycles and a total of 1,200 posts anchor.

The chosen locations, a total of 14, which has already begun work as follows:

- Paseo de Florence (South Round)

- Plaza de Industria (Renfe -The Carmen Station)

- City of Justice (Ronda Sur)

- Garden of Floridablanca (Zona El Carmen)

- Avenida Pío Baroja with Avenida Monte Carmelo (Hall & Pool Infante)

- Avenida Mayor Jorge Palacios (Zona Reina Sofia Hospital Vistabella)

- Plaza Santa Catalina

- Plaza Santa Isabel

- Plaza de Europa

- Plaza de La Merced (Near University)
