Reuben, one of the bats (Rousettus aegyptiacus) inhabiting the nature and animal park Terra Natura Murcia, is recovering well from his injury after being treated.
Caregivers have performed complex surgery to repair the open fracture of the ulna at the forearm that had the bat in the left wing.
Nothing detect the lesion, the animal was taken to the operating room for an operation.
