José Antonio Sotomayor, Councillor Progress and Democracy Union in the city of Murcia, claim in the next municipal plenary review of all parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities to adapt to current regulations.

As Sotomayor explained, there places in the city that do not meet the technical requirements contained in the Order VIV / 561/2010 of February 1 Ministry of Housing and the various provisions and recommendations issued by the European Union.

According to regulations, these places should be arranged in the main centers of activity of cities and located as close as possible to the crossing points between the accessible pedestrian routes and vehicular routes, ensuring access from the transfer area to the itinerary autonomously and safely.

The mayor of Murcia UPyD believes that "if the municipality of Murcia wants to be a city without architectural barriers that people with disabilities can make your life normally, should correct the deficiencies, facilitating the parking lot and the subsequent incorporation of these people to urban tracks ".
