The Socialist councilor Susana Hernández defend in Parliament on Thursday a motion calling on the local PP to mediate in the labor dispute between the company that manages the home help service and its employees, ensuring the quality of service and staff receive your payroll.

"It is unacceptable that a company that works for the City does not pay its workers," said Hernandez, who, if not resolved this situation urgently propose in Parliament that the legal and technical services propose the termination of contract seriously affect the quality of the service and for breaching the contractor's obligations to their workers.

It will also require that a clause guaranteeing payment of workers and allow the City monitor this situation be included in future specifications.

Remember that the 300 service workers home help carry more than three years accumulating delays in the payment of their salaries and bonuses.

Despite his protests, this situation is not corrected, on the contrary, this January is already the third time that workers are forced to make indefinite strike to get their salary.

The socialist mayor said that is a fundamental service in the portfolio of social benefits 2,000 users- and local PP should not allow a conflict that continues over time and, undoubtedly, is deteriorating service quality not aggravated by the efforts of the workers.
