The University of Murcia promotes environmental responsibility with workshops, guided tours and projections (26/01/2015)

The University of Murcia has designed a calendar of activities to promote environmental awareness among the university community activities including workshops, audiovisual, wildlife tours, exhibitions or reforestation on the campus of Espinardo routes.

Programming, and free for students, teachers and administrative staff and services of the University character, is an initiative of the environmental management system of the educational institution, Sustainable Campus, who has chosen a theme for each month which the activity (environment, renewable energy, mobility and recycling) is prolonged.

During the month of February workshops on natural honey (with a visit to a honeycomb), identification of varieties of local flora, vertical gardens, developing natural essences, organically grown herbs, a solidarity, information on routes offer Cycling in Murcia, organic products and an orienteering race, among other activities.
