The "Holi Run" anticipates the arrival of carnival head of Torres (21/01/2015)

The race, which is involved walking, running or dancing, will be held on Sunday 8. Along the 5 km route will be sprayed runners with thousands of kilos of colored powders.

More than 60,000 people joined the tests organized last year in other Spanish cities.

The "Holi Run" advance a few days the arrival of the head of Torres carnival this year.

This is a qualifying event for all ages where the only requirement is to go white and have a great time.

To do this, the organization will employ thousands of kilos of starch powder colors from India with which it is sprayed participants.

The test, which takes place on Sunday February 8, will run over 5 kilometers, departing at 11 am on Avenida Lopez Councillor Remigio Cabeza de Torres.

It may be done individually or in groups, walking, running or dancing, surrounded by music and entertainment and many colored powders.

A career meant to enjoy with family or friends and live an athletic, fun and colorful experience.

The event is organized by the Local Youth Council and the Association of Carnival Cabeza de Torres, whose president, Fran Sánchez, has accompanied this morning at the council of Sports, Youth and Tourism and Culture, Miguel Cascales and Rafael Gómez, respectively, in the presentation of the event.

He has also starred Naomi Latorre, A38 Sports, promoter of the event.

Every kilometer you will have a "Holi Blitz" a color station where volunteers fill the participants of thousands of kilos of powder in one color: orange, green, pink and blue.

After the race, it will be time to enjoy over two hours of music with the presence of a DJ and zumba instructors who encourage dancing to all participants.

Registration can be done individually or in groups of up to four people in the www.holirun.es page.

The price is 13 € (group of 4 participants 48 €) and 12 € for children 10-14 years.

All children under 10 years can participate free when accompanied by a registered adult.

Admission includes shirts, dust bag and back.

Hindu Festival

Holi is the Hindu spring festival, a celebration of joy.

Therefore, the event invites running, dancing for hours and throw colored powders that stain every moment of good fun.

For many marks the entry into a new life stage, the victory of good over evil, and for the thousands of participants of past editions Holi is an expected event, which is reflected in the success received every race.

Holi 2014 calendar Run was held in Madrid, Valencia, Granada, Vigo and Logroño, and came to unite more than 55,000 participants, to which we add the 15,000 of the two events 2013.
