One hundred students from the UCAM have participated in European projects (16/01/2015)

Around 50 presented thematically related projects as diverse as health, employment, education, culture and food;

About a hundred students have participated in such initiatives;

and the involvement of teachers and researchers from the UCAM.

These are some of the data are extrapolated from the participation of the Catholic University of Murcia call for projects funded by the European Commission FP7 Collaborative Project are;

Life +;

Youth in action;

Erasmus +;

NILS Science and Sustainability;

Marie Curie Action WHRI Academy;

COST.

The university has hosted this evening a training course on the development of proposals for projects funded by the European Commission.

Note that the CEO of Citizen Participation, European Union External Action CARM, Manuel Pleguezuelo, has been responsible for starting the course.

The course, taught by team member YOUTH FACTORY Abdullah Gül University of Kayseri (Turkey), and former student of the Master in EU Studies UCAM, Andrés Abad, has addressed an easy and practical way the possibilities existing on financing of various programs and initiatives funded by the European Commission, allowing knowledge on procedures, processes, documents and requirements to design, develop and submit proposals eligible for funding in various fields and topics in the field of different DGs that make up the Commission.

Collaboration between institutions

The speaker stressed that Spain has benefited from European funds "because virtually all our highways, airports, ports, etc., have been largely built and rebuilt with them," and added that "it is logical that what they are tanks thoughts as UCAM, part of that opportunity offered by the EU, especially considering that in Space Bologna a university can not be isolated from this project. "

The rapporteur also stressed that such actions can extend the contacts of institutions at European level, enriching, in this case, the university system.
