The Garres and Santo Ãngel and have new playgrounds (08/01/2015)

The Department of Environment, who runs Adela Martinez-Cache, 2015 has started fulfilling commitments.

In its aim to make public spaces in the municipality of competence are adequate and in perfect condition for the use and enjoyment of Murcia, the council new playgrounds is installed.

The first ones are launched are those of the districts of Los Garres and San Angel.

The playground of Los Garres, located in the Residential Estate Cresta del Gallo has three docks, a slide, a swing, 120 square meters of impact and 50 meters of child safety fence.

In the case of Santo Angel, the new playground is on the street Frutos Baza and welcomes three piers, two slides, a swing, 100 square meters of impact, and 40 linear meters of child safety fence.

As announced by the council, the municipality of Murcia this year will exceed 2,400 playgrounds in parks, a figure that in November 2014 was 2,385 games;

and ratio of playgrounds per 182 inhabitants, according to the population census to January 1, 2014. If we consider the number of population aged 0 to 12 years of age, the ratio is reduced, reaching the figure a playground for every 26 children.

In Berlin the number of play areas is 1,850 in Zaragoza has 2,220 in Málaga features 374 and 343 Sevilla.

The commitment included in the budgets for 2015 includes the installation of a total of 26 new points of play areas.

The performances, some initiated and others in the process, focus on the implementation of reinforced concrete floor taped by curb, supply and installation of rubber tile, fenced perimeter in approved colors and placement of the various playgrounds.
