VOS programming Centrofama, an initiative that has the participation of Classroom Film and Digital Culture at the University of Murcia, screened on Monday, January 12, the film "Hood Boy" ("Moments of Life" ).
Directed by Richard Linklater and starring Ellar Coltrane, Patricia Arquette, Ethan Hawke, Lorelei Linklater.
Described as "epic of the ordinary", "Hood Boy" tells the real changes in a boy from age six to 18, a journey through the history of a family through the most important events in the life of a person.
It is an American independent film shot in just 39 days, but spread over twelve years, which has been hailed by critics and audiences as one of the biggest surprises of last year.
The film won the best director award at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and the great FIPRESCI award for best film of the year at the Festival of San Sebastian.
Being located in the top ten films of the year in the ratings given annually by the National Board of Review and the American Film Institute.
He also won the distinction of Best Film of 2014 by critics of New York and Chicago.
The price is 4 euros for the general public and three for universities and over 65 years.
Sessions are at 17:30 and 21 hours.
