Agents of the National Police have arrested four people suspected of crimes of theft, reckless driving, disobedience and damage.
A few days ago took place in the middle of the city of Murcia an operation carried out by officers of the District Police Station San Andrés culminating in four arrests.
The events began in a downtown business located on Gran Via our city, when the security guard said premises, managed to retain a person, along with other three tried to steal a lot of clothing.
The other three managed to flee in a vehicle that had been parked nearby.
Immediately they were pursued by members of the National Police managed to catch them and stop them at the height of the bus station.
Although they resisted and attempted to flee again, they were intercepted by a police car which prevented his escape after having collided with a vehicle that was parked at the time in the street.
The four arrested three men aged between 22 and 26 years and a girl of 15 years old, all of Romanian nationality, are part of an organized base in the Andalusian village of Roquetas de Mar group, from the which is traveling around the Spanish lift to commit robbery and theft against property, especially on large surfaces.
At the time of arrest and upon registration of the vehicle a lot of clothing, valued at more than € 400 were seized, all with label and stolen three shops in Murcia city, so after confirmation of their origin, were handed over to their rightful owners.
A bag ready to commit thefts, multiple alarms and disconnected and a knife they used to force alarms before leaving shops also intervened.
This intervention is part of Preventive Plan "Secure Trade" developed by the National Police Headquarters in Murcia through its Commissioners for District and Provincial Brigade of Public Safety, with the aim of providing security in commercial areas city, preventing and if chasing, all kinds of crimes against property or against persons that may occur in different shopping areas.
The operation was conducted by agents of the District Police Station San Andrés de la Police Headquarters of Murcia.
