The Faculty of Chemistry, University of Murcia held the celebrations of patron of scientists, San Alberto Magno, with a tribute to retired teachers at the school, which the rector, José Orihuela, handed the gold badge of the institution.
The day included a conference I + D + i of El Pozo Food, Antonio Avellaneda, who spoke of the importance of chemicals in the development and progression of the meat industry.
Also held a "Show of Chemistry" by the degree in this discipline David Meseguer, who conducted the experiments carried out at institutes in the region, which shows the chemical in a fun and accessible way, but subject to scientific rigor .
The events of the day were entertained with the Orchestra of the University, who played for attendees tangos and film soundtracks.
The activities involved the collaboration of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry, Chemical Association of Murcia and the Association of Chemists.
