More than 150 residents of El Esparragal have gathered today at the popular food organized in this district for funds to build a chapel in El Campillo.
The meeting, sponsored by the neighbors, has been attended by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, who with his presence has wanted to support this initiative.
It is an idea pursued for decades by numerous inhabitants of this town, but the works, begun some years ago, had to be paralyzed by lack of funding.
Hence the call for this luncheon held today, which aims to raise enough money to continue the project.
Among those attending the dinner the president of the Municipal Board of El Esparragal, Ángel Pérez, and the Town Planning and Housing, Juan Antonio Bernabe were also found.
