The Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning of the Government of Andalusia, María Jesús Serrano, today highlighted the importance of knowledge transfer during the signing of the agreement with the University of Murcia for the practice of the students of this institution.
Serrano said the university "must be present in the management of natural areas and environmental planning policies, allowing that both sides can benefit from synergies arising from this collaboration."
The promoter of the agreement is an extension of the company in January 2011- Professor Carlos Martinez-Carrasco, has indicated that in the years of operation were six students who have benefited from it through extracurricular practices, and other with ten curricular practices within the Masters in Wildlife Management.
The agreement may benefit Murcia university, and it allows the implementation of practices in all parks and recovery centers dependent wildlife Andalusian Ministry said.
The rector of the University, Jose Orihuela, thanked the cooperation of the Government of Andalusia and commented that the regional situation will not change if no account is taken initiatives like this that are in line to protect our environment and make precise to leave to children and grandchildren growing in better performances.
The signing was attended, among others, the rector Transfer, Entrepreneurship and Employment, Frances Thomas, and the general secretary of the University, Santiago Alvarez.
