Twelve procesionarán Marian images through the streets of Murcia to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of Mary as Mother of the Church (18/11/2014)

To mark the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of Mary as Mother of the Church will celebrate the Great Procession of Twelve Stars, which will take place on Saturday November 29th in the afternoon.

The Parish of San Juan Bautista will be the starting point and continue the journey through the streets of the city center until you reach Cardinal Square Belluga where he will end the procession with the arrival of participants thrones and Marian act tribute to the Virgin Mary.

Programming this conclusion is as follows:

- Friday November 21, the feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin.

Adoration by the various brotherhoods of Murcia, ushering in the Altar of the Parish of San Juan Bautista after the Eucharist 18 hours.

- Sunday November 23: 12 noon offering of flowers, Angelus and singing of the Salve in the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Fuensanta in honor of the brotherhoods of Murcia.

- Friday November 28: Transfer of thrones from their respective canonical to the parish of San Juan Bautista venues to be exposed the next morning and the afternoon part of the Great Procession Processional Mariano.

- Saturday, November 29: Opening at 10 am in the parish of San Juan Bautista where the thrones are set to become part of the Great Procession of Twelve Stars.

In the afternoon there will be the Great Procession of Twelve Stars.

- THRONE 1) For the month of January, St. Mary Mother of God.-

Our Lady of Arrixaca.

The Purification of the Blessed Virgen.-

Our Lady of Candelaria has great devotion in Murcia and especially in the neighborhood of Santa Eulalia.

Thundered 8) For the Month August.- Apparition of the Virgin of Head.

Nuestra Señora de la Cabeza.
