Best Practices Award for Educational Success - CC The Milagrosa Espinardo (18/11/2014)

The College participated in the II Good Practice for Educational Success organized by the SM Foundation.

The aim of this competition is to support nationally-led educational institutions to encourage and promote educational success in Spain experiences.

Of the 156 experiences presented have been selected 10, two of them centers Daughters of Charity, the College Board Sacred Heart of Jesus and our school with the "INNOVA Project".

The award was received on 12 November in Madrid, after an interview in which he explained all the innovations and new learning methodologies applied in the classroom.

Aware of the changing times in which our society is involved, the opportunities and difficulties involved, especially for the younger generation, want to live committed to the creation of a new school more in line with the challenges posed by the new situation.

Educators As Vincentians, we propose to train a student / to different values ​​that give depth and substance to your life with quality education, motivated by learning, creating a positive environment and a center that promotes the transformation, innovation , upgrading and training, dynamic, active to help achieve change in students, families and society.

Therefore, it became necessary to start a new processing center level, with visible changes to curriculum, assessment and methodological level, as well as a change in teaching mindset to respond to all the problems described above.

Our center aims to develop continuously pursuing innovation:

Principles of inclusive education.

Attention to diversity.

Improved coexistence.

Procedures and tools for self-knowledge and improvement.

Examples of improved learning through projects and tasks and routines of thought.

Aware of representing this transformation we establish as criteria of improvement, from an inclusive perspective:

The improvement of all members of the community to their full participation in the mission through collaboration.

Involvement of processes to increase student participation and reducing their exclusion.

Involvement of the restructuring of the culture, policies and practices in schools so that they can address the diversity of students in the town.

Promotion of mutually reinforcing relationships between schools and their communities.

The participation of all students, with special attention to those most vulnerable to being subject to exclusion, not only those with impairments or labeled as "with Special Educational Needs."
