The Department of Planning and Housing, directed by Juan Antonio Bernabe, has launched a competition to encourage the restoration of facades of public buildings in private ownership and foreign religious rehabilitation of public facilities and buildings buildings.
A total of 483,618 euros in grants will be awarded.
The City Council approved the bases and the announcement of this initiative.
They may request façade rehabilitation grant:
-Titulares Of listed buildings located within the Campus Historical Site.
-Titulares The other buildings within the Campus Historical Site.
-Titulares Of buildings included in the Catalogue of buildings and protected elements of the General Plan.
-Titulares Building of public facilities.
-Titulares Damaged facades of buildings located in parks, new residential units or uniform architectural ensembles.
-Titulares Of buildings that are not listed, but which have the report of the Technical Service that qualifies as historic, environmental or architectural interest.
The amount of the grant shall not exceed 50% of the cost of the works.
The owners submitted to this competition will have to attach a photo report of the current state of the property, valued memory of the restoration of the facade, reasons for the interest of the building and its cataloging and reference amount of the cost of works inter alia.
The deadline for submission is 30 following the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia calendar days.
Applications must be submitted to the Register of the City located in the building of Municipal Services Abenarabi Avenue;
in the General Register of the City (Apostles square) or any of the agencies referred to in Article 38.4 of Law 30/1992.
For the assessment of applications submitted by a collegial body composed of the Town Planning and Housing and municipal officers shall be constituted.
