Councilman IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, addressed today to the responsible Contracting, Cosme Ruiz, requesting information on the actual implementation of economic quantities are referred to the contracts of session management utility.

Specifically, Tornel has been interested in service contracts for cleaning, street lighting, gardens and streets.

For the mayor, contract allow improvements address important needs for the city, hence "are not a minor section on the commitments of the companies that manage public services."

In his view, the recent events surrounding the controversy over the pots Street Belluga Tatters and open space "serious unknowns" about the control of money committed by companies to meet those needs.

"The history of the pots seems a small matter, the result of power struggles and money that PP stars every day, but this issue can reveal far more important cases."

The four municipal contracts for which IU-Greens request information represent an investment of public money to more than 100 million.

Therefore, "a commitment to improving contract is not anything and municipal managers must ensure compliance in order to better serve the citizens."

Tornel has held that "there should be a single economic game in municipal contracts to project doubt about how public money is managed."

"This would help avoid the most of the privatization of public services, which for United Left-Greens project is part of its municipal government".
