The Councillor for Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, and the director of Leroy Merlin in Murcia, Raul Avalos, have signed a collaboration agreement whereby the store adheres to the "Green Homes" project of the City.
This is the third edition of the program and greater participation, which in total will be part of the project 200 families Murcia.
The aim of the agreement signed this morning is to provide the means necessary for the development of the program to the city of Murcia and the families of the municipality of Murcia integrate into their dynamics.
Furthermore, it is also intended to generate new initiatives and projects in the field of action to promote environmental values.
Leroy Merlin's accession to the "Green Homes" program will focus on providing the city of Murcia on the constituent elements of the technology called "kit savings and efficiency."
Said kit to each participating family is given in the program.
This kit is composed of various elements favoring energy savings and water consumption in the home.
The kit will consist of a five-based extension sockets and switch two bulbs E27 LED thread, a weekly digital timer, a reducing flow to the shower, faucet aerator and a bag recycled.
The 'Green Homes' program is part of the activities of Citizen Participation, Local Climate Change Strategy.
Its purpose is convened families, from forming and raising awareness about the impact of energy consumption on global warming and the global water scarcity and therefore reduce their consumption through changing some daily habits.
