Two individuals arrested at a police checkpoint for drug trafficking (06/11/2014)

Agents of the National Police have arrested two youths for alleged drug trafficking offense upon seizing certain amount of marijuana hidden in the vehicle traveling along an urban street of the city of Murcia.

In one randomized control devices made in an urban road near the Barrio de Espinardo, last October 30, the agents intercepted two men occupied vehicle.

By being registered, the police officers found under the spare tire, a package containing marijuana bags, ready for sale, with a total weight of 320 grams that reach market value de1.500 euros.

Given these facts, the officers proceeded to arrest and seizure of the narcotic substance.

Those arrested two men aged 19 and 24 years of age, of Spanish nationality and residents of Horny Segura, Alicante, is charged with a crime against public health, going to court on October 31.

This police operation is part of the different operating control that the Provincial Brigade of Public Security Police Headquarters Murcia established in different parts of the city, to prevent criminal acts.

The operation was carried out by officers of the Police District of the Upper San Andres police headquarters in Murcia.
