Library La Alberca celebrates its 30th anniversary with exhibitions, storytelling and music (04/11/2014)

The library of La Alberca celebrates its 30th anniversary with a full program of activities for young and old.

The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sánchez, attended this morning in one of the events planned, visit pupils in Primary 6 school El Molino (La Alberca) to participate in the workshop Katarzyna Rogowicz illustrator and program Regional Wave 'The imaginary tribe', featuring Martha Ferrero.

This workshop, with students from schools, will be repeated on 7 and 12 November, and will feature the actor José Manuel Garzon.

Maria Dolores Sanchez explained that these activities is to promote reading and to inform society of the large number of free activities taking place in libraries, at the same time stressed the long history of the library of La Alberca, who turns 30 in a few expanded facilities, improved and adapted to the new needs.

Tomorrow at 19.00, Murcia Mengual writer Paco Lopez will discuss his book "The Last Boat to America '.

On November 10, at 19 am, is planning a conference on 'El Greco and modern painting', by Lucía García de Carpi, Professor of Art at the Complutense University of Madrid.

On November 11, at 19 pm, a panel discussion will take place we called 'We are what we read, the books in my life, "the professor of the University of Murcia and writer Jose Belmonte, writer and animator Alonso Palacios, the Angel Peñalver librarian and writer Jerome Tristante moderated by manager and producer Angel Salcedo culture.

That same day, from 17.00 to 18.30, there will be a photocall by her photographer Manuel Zamora, for all people who want to make a picture.

On November 12, at 18.00, it is the turn to storyteller and actor José Manuel Garzon.

The music is the star of the day November 13, at 19.00, with the recital 'Loves 2014 Tour' by Juan Serna, accompanied by Luis Antonio Rubio (guitar and vocals), Sergio Garcia (guitar and bass) and Manuel Angel Orengo (percussion).

On November 14, at 19.00, the Music Association of La Alberca Musicalberk offer performance 'Music in books'.

Also, you can visit the exhibition "So far I can read ', a collection of bookmarks donated by Angel Peñalver.
