In order to make further involve citizens, the Department of Environment, directed Adela Martinez-Cache, through the Municipal Office of the bike, has launched a participatory process for citizens to choose location of new Cycle closed that the City is planning to install in the town of Murcia.
This initiative is part of the resolutions passed by the Municipal Observatory Bike, recently met.
Strategically located in Murcia gardens and close to the bus and tram ride facilities, universities and / or residential areas and bus stops, the Closed Cycle favor intermodality.
Constitute a set of bicycle parking spaces, located inside the cage which is accessed through a magnetic key.
Each enclosed bicycle parking capacity to accommodate a total of 20 bikes safely and securely.
Currently, the Municipality of Murcia has a total of nine indoor bicycle parking, plus a dozen more under construction.

Most voted options will be chosen to locate the seven new Closed Cycle to be built.
