BENIAJAN Micro Drives from October 31 to December 12.

First Festival of Art and Social Intervention takes place in the hamlet of Murcia Beniaján with a 6 micro artistic activities and social intervention that leave from a job in coordinated network between the Auditorium Beniaján and the Center for Art and Community Action Station.

This initiative has been made possible by funding from the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Murcia with the provision of such aid to research in art for social improvement and a collaboration and work Cepaim Foundation, center manager Art and Community Action Station.

The six scholarship projects being carried out across six Micro-Actions in the hamlet of Beniaján art forms are linked to social inclusion and citizen participation, in order to create greater social cohesion and open spaces coexistence through artistic action.

The projects, grantees with 600 €, are composed of different arts sector professionals and social work, who have departed knowledge and interaction with the environment in which they are located to work together, developing participatory activities with the community and promoting the creative arts community.

Emphasize collective dedicated to performance art and political activism as Open led Domix Action Garrido, Marisa Ballerinas Brugarolas and Trinidad Martinez Cutillas or Social anthropologist working motto Aurora are some / as members of the awarded projects to display throughout the months of October to December in different points of the Murcia district of Beniaján.

Dance in waiting rooms, public performances that are based on the current situation and problems that concern in the hamlet Beniaján training activities with groups at risk of social exclusion, exhibitions that are based on exploratory studies by way of photographic films ( Beniaján DNA) or the use of music as part of "task" of the streets, make the program of activities of this first edition of the festival, which aims to build and transform society through creative and community arts.
