Minister of Cooperation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, the rector of the University of TIFARITI and other authorities and intellectuals of the former Spanish colony will participate in the Third Conference on the Sahrawi Culture, to be held from 28 to 30 October at the University Murcia and other areas.
The event, which includes lectures, discussions, films, reading folktales and music concerts, aims to bring the Saharawi liberation process the academic world and society at large Murcia.
The conference will take place at the University of Murcia (a tent be installed on the campus of Mercy) at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and in the municipalities of Cieza and Molina de Segura, which also have scheduled activities.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, the University of Murcia and UPCT signed a cooperation agreement with the University of TIFARITI, the first institution of higher education Saharawi.
The meeting is organized by the Saharawi delegation for the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, and the League of Youth and Students Saharawis, in collaboration with the University of Murcia through its Service to Diversity and Volunteerism.
