The City celebrates UN Day with a reading of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (20/10/2014)

Murcia City Council has joined the celebration of the United Nations, an organization that contributes to peace and common progress.

The UN Day marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the Charter of the United Nations.

The Councillor for Equality Policies and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, has presided over a ceremony in which 120 students participated IES Francisco Cascales and consisted of the reading of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in Castilian, English, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Ukrainian and Russian.
