Today, October 17, coinciding with the anniversary of the death of the scientist Ramón y Cajal and the celebration of the European Day of Research Support, has been carried out in universities and research centers reading the manifesto of the Collective Letter by Science, in which the role of science in the future welfare of the country and claimed.

At the University of Murcia, concentration and reading the Manifesto "No Future With Science" was held in the Rector Building Soler (the seat of Vice President for Research) and the Rectory.

The Charter for Science Collective is composed of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), the Confederation of Scientific Societies Spain (COSCE), the Federation of Young Researchers (FJI) and the UGT and CCOO unions.
