The Board of Directors of Mercamurcia yesterday held its monthly meeting, which discussed, among other things, the presentation and analysis of the Food Unit.
Chaired by the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, the council in October attended by the new managing director, Ricardo Rubio.
Within the set of activities that are developed in Mercamurcia, the board discussed the increase of 17.81% of the cumulative volume of sacrifice Meat complex obtained in the same period last year.
A motivated mainly by the significant increase in pig sacrifices increase.
In contrast, bovine sacrifice has diminished their number in this period.
The month of September has reported positive results from marketing fruits and vegetables, compared with the same period last year.
The council also discussed yesterday overcoming the certification audit for ISO 9001 Quality Standards and ISO 14001 Environment.
Another aspect to be discussed at the meeting was the launch of a new optimization strategy and resource efficiency Mercamurcia where saving policies contemplated in certain activities such as cleaning, security and others.
The meeting also served to green-light torque installation in one of the local multi-purpose, a joint venture of Spanish-French capital to develop agrupaje activity and export of fruits and vegetables from Mercamurcia and for the market French, more specifically the Central Market Supply Paris.
