Murcia City Council approved the award of the special service brigade responsible for maintaining and preserving the different trees and plants existing in public schools in the municipality of Murcia, in the amount of 222,944.52 euros.

The works and services that will undertake the special brigade as follows:

- Pruning

- Collection of branches and other prunings and transportation.

- Phytosanitary treatments.

- Preservation of trees.

- Planting of new trees.

- Cutting and removal of plant species.

In general, pruning begin on October 1 and must be completed on December 20, except in species in which they must perform pruning dates after this date, but before February 15.

The schedule for the implementation of pruning work will be from 8:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.

Any work of pruning or removal of branches in the presence of students, teachers or outside the provision of the service will be performed.

As for phytosanitary treatments, will be held outside school hours or during holidays.
