The program includes information and environmental awareness activities this season interpreted in sign language (13/10/2014)

The Department of Environment, directed Adela Martinez-Cache, starts a new season of environmental activities, as usual develops in the Majal Blanco, as usual, and the new Civic Center The Contraparada.

In total there are 14 activities that will take place from October to December 2014 activities starts this weekend with the Environmental volunteering.

The information program and environmental awareness begins a varied program of activities for the months of October to December.

These proposals seek to promote information, awareness and environmental awareness of the population of the town, offering a wide range of thematic alternatives which are open to all interested persons.

The schedule for this season includes two activities with sign language interpretation.

With this integration initiative, for which it has the support of Mano a Mano Association, the Department of Environment aims to support the efforts of the Associative Movement of the Deaf and expand the profile of the population that can perform outreach activities environmental proposals.

Seminars and nature.

For the period from October to December, are scheduled three intensive workshops, two in the Nature of El Majal Blanco and one in the center of La Contraparada to address new issues in the hands of experts and in direct contact with best preserved natural environment of the municipality.

Workshops are held on Saturday from 10 to 17 hours.

Registration for seminars is five euros (free for children under 17, seniors over 65 and unemployed).

The seminar to be performed in The Contraparada will be interpreted in sign language.

Environmental Gymkhana for the whole family.

Researching the Majal Blanco.

- 22 November.

The nature and history of Contraparada (seminar interpreted in sign language).

- 13 December.

Workshop Christmas sweets, sustainable tradition.

Environmental itineraries and guided tours.

For this period 8 bike which will bring various enclaves and environments of environmental interest are scheduled.

The routes are made on Sunday and the registration is free for all interested persons.

MU-35 PR Cuevas del Vulture.

Distance of 6 kilometers.

The itinerary will be interpreted in sign language.

PR MU-84 El Picacho.

Medium difficulty.

Distance: 3.5 miles.

- 16 November.

PR MU-34 Way of the Arejos.

Medium difficulty.

Distance: 7 km

- 23 November.

MU PR 94 Sendero Los Ginovinos.

Medium difficulty.

Distance: 5.7 kilometers.

- 30 November.

MU SL-15 Family Path.

Difficulty very low.

The distance is 2.5 miles.

- 14 December.

Climb to Mirabete.

Difficulty.

Distance: 6.5 miles.

- 21 December.

Circuit Carrascoy-El Valle Regional Park.

Medium difficulty.

Distance: 7 miles.

We Voluntary Environmental pineapple!

This edition will continue with the Municipal Environmental Volunteer program with new activities.

For this period, three activities are scheduled for voluntary action, Saturday from 10 to 14 h develop.

Participation in the Environmental Volunteer Municipal grants college credit to students interested.

Assessment trails Majal Blanco

- 29 November.

We !: pineapple nursery preparation riparian vegetation, in collaboration with ANSE.

- 13 December.

Recovery of the riparian forest of the Segura River, also in collaboration with ANSE.

The Awareness and Environmental Awareness of the Department of Environment plans to continue the advocacy work carried out by the information booth and activities on various environmental issues, installed in the Plaza de Santo Domingo in Murcia.

Parallel to all this programming is ongoing Point Environmental Information Majal Blanco City Park, located in the Plaza of the mulberry trees, every Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9:30 to 14:30 and the New Center Visitors to El Majal Blanco Sundays from 9:30 to 14 hours.
