The PP La Glorieta consolidates'apartheid' neighborhoods and districts (09/10/2014)

"Unless you live in the city center, few works will see improvement in your streets."

This is the critique today Councilman Jose Zapata Socialist Group, following the announcement by Urban Quality invest 1,700 million euros in small works in the town of Murcia.

Good news Zapata -apunta if it were not that, as usual, neighborhoods and districts are left out of these improvements, condemned to oblivion by the low interest and no sensibility of a local government which only concerned the bud, the Town center.

Meanwhile the mayor of the PSOE complaint neighbors who live in neighborhoods and districts most of the population not only have to endure the lack of services in general, but the lack of sidewalks in many important centers.

In this sense, Zapata considered abusive and unacceptable as a historical problem is the lack of sidewalks in some areas has not been resolved.

This refers to those between La Alberca and El Palmar, Algezares- Holy Angel, and San Ginés Aljucer, among others, whose neighbors are reinvindicando long sidewalks to be provided these sections of the population does.

Neither the Socialist councilor mentioned how the local government has launched the new road which has left sidewalks, as in the case of the Coastal North and South Avenue Beniaján and some parts of South Ronda forget.

"A reality that is more like science fiction, when you consider we're talking about a relatively new infrastructure that have performed poorly," concludes Zapata.
