Seven queens over downtown San Miguel have been honored by the members of this association, within the celebrations organized for the Cultural Week.
The event, which took place yesterday at the headquarters of the center, also attended by the Councillor for Social Welfare and Health, María del Carmen Pelegrin, the president of the Municipal Board, Maria Angeles Galindo, and the president of the center , Marilina Carrascosa.
The queens were honored Conchita Conesa, Marilo Martinez Fabregat, Fuensanta Llorach Celiz Carmen Maria Lola Luna, Lourdes Pou and Mari Carmen Martínez Sánchez Garre, chosen this year.
For nearly an hour, and a lounge that is too small given the large number of people, the audience enjoyed the performance of the San Miguel Rondalla and choir, which performed Havana and popular boleros, including Adelita, Mi Viejo San Juan, María Dolores or Evening Star.
With yesterday's ceremony put an end to the Cultural Week IX center of San Miguel, which has about 900 members, among other activities during these days has offered theater, musical performances and talks.
