SITE The new service will resolve the incidents recorded in the street in 24 hours (01/10/2014)

The Department of Urban Quality is launching a new service in the maintenance, faster, efficient and close to the city streets.

The new service SITE solve urgent incidents reported to the council that directs Ana Martínez Vidal a maximum of 24 hours compared to 72 hours of service within the previous maintenance.

The new service will have a new corporate image and new signs and work vehicles.

Furthermore, the graphical interface of the website will be modified much more intuitive and easier to use.

Murcia may send all requests through the website www.insitumurcia.es or email calidadurbanaeinfraestructuras@ayto-murcia.es.

The Department is committed to conducting all the defendants actions in the eight districts of the city, as long as this need is justified.

Some of the maintenance work to be carried out during the months before the end of the year and are already scheduled are:

- Implementation of sidewalks in Avenida Miguel de Cervantes

- Repair paving and drainage improvement Valladolid Plaza Area

- Mariano Vergara Street Paving and Canovas del Castillo

- Adaptation of sidewalk to facilitate access of fire engines in street Cigarral

- Repair pavement on Calle San Ignacio de Loyola

- Implementation of sidewalk street Joaquín Blume

- Repair fornix Plaza Santoña

- Repair of median Cagigal Pavilion Pavilion and Prince of Asturias

- Running ford on Alfonso X

- Replacement of paving Alley Burruezo

- Paved Lane French

In these proceedings the paving of some roads in the city will add a new type of anti-agglomerate, to be used for the first time in the city and is composed of a mixture of tar and rubber powder derived from used tires.

Besides avoiding noise pollution contributes to the improvement of the environment with recycled rubber.

This type of bitumen is characterized by the ability to absorb sound produced by the tread of vehicle tires, with a reduction from three to five decibels according to the tests to which this new material has undergone.

The Department is conducting an inventory of streets in the neighborhoods of the city in order to detect which ones are deficient in the condition of the asphalt, to intervene only in those streets where pavement wear is excessive and can cause safety problems.
