Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 30, the auditorium of Convalescence host the launch of "The Convalescence of Murcia. Historical Landmark."
It will be at 19.30 hours, and participate in the event José Orihuela Calatayud, Rector of the University of Murcia;
José Antonio Cobacho, ex-rector and Professor of Civil Law and the author of the book, Fresneda Rafael Collado, author of the book.

"The Convalescence of Murcia. Historical Landmark" is edited by Editum, Publications Service of the University of Murcia.
The book brings the reader the history of Convalescence of Murcia, an institution founded by Cantor Andrés de Rivera in 1779 with the purpose of the sick in the Hospital San Juan de Dios, once cured, could stay a few days with a regimen restorative to enable them regain strength and go reset, preventing relapses caused by weakness.
Its pages contain numerous vicissitudes experienced by the establishment of charitable welfare nature in its 200 year history.
In 1915 the current building, designed by architect José Antonio Rodríguez Murcia Martínez was built.
It is a building exemplary in his time would modify their ends mid twentieth century to host the Priest's House and Diocesan Library.
The book recounts his acquisition by the University of Murcia to practice home of the Chancellor.
Fresneda Rafael Collado has a degree in History from the University of Murcia and Master in Public Management from the center.
