The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, participate tomorrow in the III Cities for Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility, promoted by the Traffic Department, the City of Torrevieja, the Generalitat and FEMP.
His presentation will focus on the protection of pedestrians and bicycle users.
Camera, in his capacity as president of the Network of Cities for Bicycle, bring the vision of this entity with respect to future Rules of the road, especially in the aspects concerning the safety of cyclists.
The event will take place tomorrow at 10 pm in the Music Hall of Torrevieja.
The meeting, convened under the title "The citizen as traffic generator", the view will also know of the Motera Platform for Traffic Safety and other aspects as collisions with pedestrians and helmet will be addressed.
The meeting of cities, which opened today, will discuss at its working draft road safety and mobility, victims of traffic accidents, safe and sustainable design of cities, road safety in the workplace or good practice in urban areas.
