The Artillery Barracks extends its offer with literary, cinematic and artistic programming every day of the week (23/09/2014)

The Artillery Barracks Center, space belonging to the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Murcia, open from Monday to Sunday through two spaces: Hall 1 and Hall 2, with the idea to offer the city of Murcia ongoing scheduled art and culture, and bet on the Barrio del Carmen as the Cultural Quarter.

Hall 1 opens with an extensive program of arts and culture programming and information on all the properties that are in the Artillery Barracks cultural complex.

It will host numerous programming through its various spaces: The Exhibition Hall Barracks Room Narrative Language, Room C (cinema and audiovisual) and Sala Jaime I (classroom training).

Add to programming and evening activities such as film shows, as well as a children's and family programming on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The new times are Hall 1, Monday through Friday from 17 to 23h, Saturdays from 10 to 14 and from 17 to 21h and Sundays from 10am to 14pm.

Hall 2 will open Monday to Friday from 17 to 22h also opening for conducting exhibitions and fairs.

The room BARRACKS, which supports and promotes the contemporary art and pop culture, presented October 22 to November 9, the sculpture exhibition "LIFE AQUATIC" Raul Martinez Ferroluar, in collaboration with the Festival of Puppet Titeremurcia, 17 pieces created with recycled materials and providing a second life to junk.

It is an interactive exhibition, the pieces carry motion sensors and the visitor can give life to each of these marine inhabitants.
