The Majal Blanco takes up this weekend activity.
Every year in the second half of September, the Department of Environment, directed Adela Martinez-Cache, reopens the Information Point Majal Blanco, after being closed during the hottest months.
The information point, located in the Plaza of the mulberry trees, open to staff of all users of the Majal Blanco (walkers and nature lovers) on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9.30 to 14.30 h.
Also, the Visitor Center, located in the nature of classroom Majal Blanco, also opens its doors this Sunday, to be available to visitors every Sunday from 9.30 to 14 h.
As data showing the usefulness of these services to the Department of Environment should be noted that only in the first half of 2014 the Information Point 2,020 visitors attended the Majal Blanco.
The Information Point and the Visitor Center are part of the Program for Environmental Information and Sensitisation of the Department of Environment.
Program activities for Environmental Information and Sensitisation are open to participation by all interested persons.
