Professor Antonio Campillo, who has now taken over as Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Murcia, for which he was recently re-elected, has highlighted the role and importance of this discipline in the formation of democratic societies.
Professor Campillo has highlighted the work of the past four years and future projects, among which are the enhancement of undergraduate and implementation of an inter-university master.
The dean presides over a team which also includes as deans, Jorge Novella, Salvador Rubio and Klaus Johannes Schriewer while as secretary María José Alcaraz exercise.
The event was attended by several vice chancellors and general secretary of the University, Santiago Álvarez.
The rector, José Orihuela, who chaired the ceremony, thanked the dean his work in his first term and have decided to continue in it for four, so this implies commitment to the center.
It has also highlighted the link between mathematics, the world to which he belongs, and Philosophy.
