This morning took place the establishment and implementation of the Bicycle Municipal Observatory, an advisory body to the City of Murcia which will promote the use of bicycles as safely possible.
The Municipal Observatory Bike will be responsible for advising on the design of the strategy to promote cycling as part of a policy to enhance their participation in the modal split.
The advisory body shall be composed of representatives of the four political groups of the Municipal Corporation, municipal officers, representatives of the Office of the bike, representatives of associations of bicycle users, citizens' associations in defense of sustainable mobility and companies that regularly collaborate with the city of Murcia in promoting and promoting bicycle use.
The Councillor for the Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, stated this morning that "we have already started working on what will be a real body for consultation, in which citizens can expose what the priorities are in terms of bicycle mobility in the town. "
