CCOO supports the educational community mobilizations CEIP "Virgen de Guadalupe" Murcia take place on Wednesday 17 September (15/09/2014)

CCOO has filed a complaint with the Department of Occupational Hazard Prevention of the Ministry of Education, at the repeated complaints from parents and teachers in this school, and take this complaint to the Inspectorate of Labour, the Minister of Education if not gives a quick solution to the deficiencies identified.

The CCOO Federation of Teaching has been in the morning with parents CEIP "Virgen de Guadalupe" of Murcia, in protest against the harsh and third world conditions in which teachers and students are developing their educational work, especially in the 5 barracks Children (portable classrooms).

The protest has been the NO attendance of dozens of students due to the high temperatures that occur within the school and, more severely, in the barracks.

Many years the educational community of this parish takes Murcia demanding the construction of a new school, but the apathy of the Ministry of education has led to a center whose original capacity was 200 students, accommodate 750 registrations .

This has led them to, even though expansion works were done 2 years ago, now has five prefabricated classrooms that are in this school year 2014-2015.

Given this overcrowding, infrastructure problems are on the rise, succeeding long problems with mains, electricity continuously jumping and disrupting normal teaching faculty.

Last year, during the months of February and March, parents mobilized and, after protest were promised counseling education and the Councillor for Education of the City, Maria Dolores Sánchez, promises that have become rough lies on an immediate solution to these technical problems, which have not only solved, but have worsened as the number of prefabricated classrooms

A new issue is included in this September: the high temperatures that the students suffer, especially in prefabricated classrooms.

CCOO complaint is the regional administration itself is in violation of the laws (R / D 486/1997), on the temperature of the premises where work is carried sedentary, as in the work of education, and the education advisor, Peter Antonio Sanchez, in a performance of sabotage occupational health laws, which should worry about giving "higher quality" to the working conditions of its public workers and students, instead of selling a normal school course that only exists in the mind of the director and the PP leaders.

CCOO immediately requires safety technicians Occupational Hazard come to the school to perform the appropriate temperature measurements and make a report on the status of the center in order to solve the thermal and electrical problems.

Likewise, the CCOO Federation of Teaching with the educational community of Virgen de Guadalupe CEIP ask, once again, a new school that meets the needs of education in the area is built because inaction and neglect of this counseling and the Department of Education can not so seriously affect the school community CEIP "Virgen de Guadalupe".

Delegates of the Federation of Education will again next Wednesday at 8:45 am supporting teachers to concentrate on the doors of the school and parents thereof will conduct a new protest lies and manipulation of the Ministry of Education and the City capital as against the promises of solution from February to March this year, we have a worsening of the conditions of the center in the beginning of course.

Mayor ineptitude is impossible.
