Repaint road signs from most schools in the municipality to increase security (10/09/2014)

The Governing Board has given its approval to the draft repainting of road signs around most schools in the municipality.

Thus, the Department of Traffic held in the coming months work repainted with acrylic paint horizontal signals even lines separating lanes or banning.

Addition will be painted at all entrances to schools a signal forbidden drive faster than 30 mph and dangerous for school zone.

In total we will act on 153 schools in the municipality of the 188 existing since the rest have a proper state of road markings in their environment.

What is intended is to increase safety in these areas of high traffic and signals are clearly visible to both pedestrians and drivers.

Lead time is two months and the investment amounts to 54,433 euros.

Furthermore, the Governing Board has also approved the tender for hiring the project paving sidewalks Villescas Bacons Bridge Tower Avenue, for a maximum amount of 75,590 euros and a completion period of two months
