The Socialist Party demands solutions to avoid overcrowding of the school's students Virgen de Guadalupe (09/09/2014)

The council of the Socialist Group, Susana Hernandez, regrets that another school year to continue the problems of overcrowding in the Virgin of Guadalupe school where more than one hundred students have begun classes in barracks.

The socialist mayor reiterates "the Socialist Group support to parents who started the course yesterday with a new protest with this situation leads extending for seven years."

Hernandez said that the case of Guadalupe shows poor planning and lack of interest of the PP for public education both at City Hall and in the Autonomous Region because it is inconceivable that this situation will continue for so long.

"Despite promises that it would solve, the reality is that today there are four barracks because students do not fit into a school that is too small," said the mayor of the PSOE.

"We doubt that the rules of construction of schools as space and security due to the mass center are met" said Susana Hernandez.

The electrical installation fails

Furthermore, the Socialist councilor complaint is receiving calls from parents of students claiming that the light is failing.

"Today has already jumped three times, just like yesterday. This is a problem that has been going on for two years and from Education committed to fix it this summer. Far, solutions any, in the center must have light several classrooms to turn off the air conditioning, "Hernandez explains.

However, he adds the PSOE councilor, school Virgen de Guadalupe was not included in the list of centers where the City has made improvement works during the holiday months despite requests we have made in both the City and the Board Municipal, this month we will raise the issue in Parliament.
