UCAM President Jose Luis Mendoza, participated Sunday in Tortosa (Tarragona) in the solemn procession in honor of the Virgen de la Cinta, patron saint of the capital of the region of Lower Ebro, on the day of their festival.
Monsignor Paolo Gualtieri, director of the Vatican Secretariat of State for Relations with States, appointed Jose Luis Mendoza with the position of honor "borlista" with his wife Maria Dolores García Mascarell.
Jose Luis Mendoza also held in the morning in a place of honor seasonal solemn Mass presided by the Bishop of Tortosa, Enrique Benavente.
On the procession followed by thousands of people on the streets of Tortosa, the President stressed that the UCAM is a great experience, "I had heard of the faith that have Tortosa to his patron saint, the Virgen de la Cinta, but I've seen today through the streets and at the entrance to the Cathedral, has exceeded all forecasts you may have.
