The processes of scientific, logical, creative and critical thinking, as well as the relevance of affective components, commitment and motivation in learning, are the topics of the special issue of the second issue of the year of the Journal of the Faculty of Education University of Murcia, Educatio XXI Century.
The work of the case, the teachers who coordinated Ferrándiz Carmen and Maria Dolores Prieto, aiming at the improvement of teaching-learning and contribute to optimal cognitive development of students.
In the same have collaborated expert at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​National University of Río Cuarto (Argentina), University of Minho (Portugal), the Institute of Education, London University and the State University of Campinas ( Sao Paulo, Brazil) as well as teachers of the research group of High Skills at the University of Murcia.

Educatio XXI Century is published by Editum (the publisher of the University of Murcia) in print and online (http://revistas.um.es/educatio), the latter with open access and full text.
